WII holds symposium on conservation topics raised by PM in Mann Ki Bat

Dehradun: The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) organised a symposium on Friday here, on various topics of wildlife conservation that were raised by PM Modi in his radio show, Mann Ki Bat. The topics ranged from house sparrow status in Uttarakhand to the conservation of turtles and tortoises in Assam. “Inspired by the PM’s address on earlier Mann Ki Bat episodes, the scientists of the Wildlife Institute of India have published papers on some of the issues he raised,” said a press re- lease issued by the institution to the media.
