Pilibhit : Three people, including two teenagers, were killed in a collision between a bike and a tractor-trolley near Amaria petrol pump in Bareilly – Haridwar NH 74, police said on Sunday. The incident took place late Saturday night when the victims were returning to their native village Faridpur in Bareilly from Harraypur village, which falls under Amaria police station.
According to police, those dead have been identified as Umair Ahmad ( 23 ), Ubaid Ahmad ( 17 ), and Ayan ( 14 ). Of the three, Umair died on the spot while the remaining two succumbed to their injuries in hospital, said Amaria Police station in-charge Kamal Kant Verma. He added, ” The bodies have been sent for autopsy. An FIR will be filed as soon as a written complaint in the matter is received.
” As per the locals, the trolley was not equipped with any night reflectors and the bike, they were traveling in, rammed into the trolley from the rear end.
