Dehradun : Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhamion Sunday reached Rampur Tiraha in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh and paid tributes to the state agitators who were killed in the police firing in 1994 .
Calling the incident a black spot in Uttarakhand’s struggle for a separate state , CM Dhami said , ” I bow down to every person who fought for a separate state , especially those who lost their lives for the cause . “
Speaking at the Shahid Sthal ‘ at Rampur Tiraha , Dhami also said that his government in Uttarakhand is committed to developing the state according to the dreams of those who fought a long struggle for the formation of a separate state .
Union minister Sanjiv Baliyan , minister in UP government Kapil Dev Agarwal and BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt , were present during the occasion .
