Dehradun : Taking a serious note of the issue of potholed roads in the Himalayan state, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tues day directed the state authorities to provide him a report on the status of roads in a week’s time.

According to the CM, the report should carry details of the work done by the department concerned to get rid of potholed roads, the efforts required, the reason for the delay in work, lists of roads repaired and the work left. Dhami directed officials to ensure that the report was provided to him within a week and there was no delay in the matter.

” Taking care of the facilities for the people is the biggest priority of the state government, ” he added. He directed that the work of repair and maintenance of the roads should be completed by the departments concerned at the earliest. He added, ” Special attention should be paid to the quality of road repair work, and there should be no complaint of any kind. “

In a meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Dhami reviewed the updated information about the development works conducted in Haridwar Special Corridor, Pithoragarh Airport, Manaskhand Corridor, Ramnagar – Ranikhet Road, and Maa Purnagiri Dham. Dhami directed to the implementation of the development projects of the Manaskhand Corridor and Haridwar Special Corridor at the earliest.
