The leaders included for me general secretary ADVO cate Shelagh Gupta , former vice president Janardan Vishwakarma , and former metropolitan treasurer Vial Jain among other party members . In their resignation letter , they complained of being ignored by the state’s leadership .
Speaking on this , Shelagh Gupta ” We convened a meeting at our office in Saddar Bazar and unanimously came to this decision . The active workers of the party are completely being ignored by the senior leadership and unilateral policies are being followed in the party . So , we decided to offer our resignations . “
When contacted , SP’s newly – appointed district president , advocate Jia Chaudhary , denied the allegations and instead raised questions over their credibility . Chaudhary said , ” They are not party workers in the first place . Their accusation is meaningless . It is all just a gimmick .
