Prayagraj: Days after the killing of gangster brothers Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf, Lucknow-based builder Mohr Muslim has lodged an FIR against six people, including Atiq’s sons Ali Ahmed and Mohr Umar, for harassment, kidnap- ping, attempt to murder and seeking R 5 crore extortion. The FIR was lodged with Khuldabad police station in Prayagraj against Ali, Umar, Assad Kalia, Hesham Karim, Mohr Nusrat and Ajay on Wednesday night wherein the victim has claimed that he had escaped to Lucknow from Prayagraj to save himself from the ire of the mafia brothers in the year 2007.
A resident of New Chaka who is involved in construction and plotting business, Mohr Muslim stated in the FIR: “When I started plotting work in Allahabad (now Prayagraj) in 2006, I was threat- need of dire consequences by Atiq, Ashraf and his henchmen as they used to seek extortion money. They also grabbed my land.”
