Dehradun : IIT Roorkee hosted an entrepreneur ship summit themed ” Reminiscing the ethos , Bharat ” to mark 175 years of its foundation .
The conclave which began Friday , is seeing the participation of more than 2,400 students of different colleges in India , who can discuss their business ideas and are apprised of real world problems faced by entrepreneurs . Top industry executives and political leaders were also part of the event .
In keeping with the theme , the summit aimed to bring out the ” old culture of the nation , its richness and innovation , to set forth values pertinent to the upcoming generation ” , organisers said .
All stakeholders brain stormed ideas at the summit . A product development meet was held for creating product – driven technologies and to discuss case studies from companies and startups . The event also included an investors ‘ vista , where future investors were exposed to real – world problem statements and a startup expo , where investors and the best upcoming startups came together for net working , fundraising and other aspects .
