Nashik : A team from Delhi Po lice was in Nashik on Saturday to question an employee of a restaurant here about his links to a suspect arrested in an Arms Act case in the national capital .
The visit by the Delhi Po lice’s special cell team catmeat time when a section of media was reporting that Gadd Muslim – an accused in the Umesh Murder case in Prayagraj was arrested from Nashik by a UP special task force ( STF ) team .
Ankush Shinde , police com missioner of Nashik , ” No such arrest has taken place from Nashik . A Delhi Police team did visit the city , but it was to question a restaurant worker who had had a few telephonic conversations with a suspect held in an Arms Act case in Del hi . After questioning the man , the team left the same evening . ” Shinde said it will not be appropriate to link the Delhi team’s visit with the developments in Uttar Pradesh .
Senior police officers said Delhi Police went through the call detail report ( CDR ) of the accused in the Arms Act case and found some calls made to the restaurant employee in Nashik .

Police officers said the man questioned by Delhi Police is a migrant and has been working in the restaurant for some time .
