New Delhi: The daily tally of Covid-19 witnessed a sharper- duction on Tuesday with only 6,660 new cases being reported from across the country.
In the last 24 hours, data shared by the Union health ministry showed, 1, 89,087 tests were conducted of which 6,660 came positive for Covid-19. Fifteen fresh fatal- ties were reported, excluding nine reconciled by Kerala. The positivity rate was re- corded to be 3.52%.
The active cases now com- prise 0.14% of the total infections, while the national Co- vid-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.67%, the minis- try said. The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 4,43,11,078 and the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.18%.
According to the minis- try’s website, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far.
