Dehradun : In its ongoing probe into the dacoity that took place at state finance minister Premchand Aggar wall’s cousin brother’s house in the Doiwala area, Dehradun police have claimed that the accused ” were from neighboring districts of western Uttar Pradesh. “
Regarding the investigation, inspector Rajesh Shah of Doiwala police station said that so far, it has been found that the accused hailed from west UP and had come to commit the crime in Dehradun, adding that there also seems to be a ” local angle in the case.
Police suspect an insider’s hand as the accused knew the exact time when the owner of the house Sheeshpal Aggarwal would be at his shop and who would be at home in the morning at around 11 when the incident took place. ” A resident of the same area where the complainant lives are suspected to have helped the absconding accused. Ten police teams have been deployed to nab the culprit as soon as possible, ” Shah said.
At least six unidentified persons barged into Sheesh pal’s house in Doiwala on Saturday when he was at his shop. The burglars allegedly held his wife and two female maids captive before fleeing with cash, jewelry, and other valuables alleged to be worth around Rs 1 crore.
