This was at least partially due to his gutsy win over Nick Osipczak at UFC 122, coming off of a lengthy layoff due to injury. 4.) Holds the unofficial UFC knockout record time at four seconds over Jonathan Goulet at UFC Fight Night 3.

5.) Has never lost 3 fights in a row in his long professional MMA career.

6.) He began his professional Mixed Martial Arts career with a win at KOTC 2 on February 5, 2000.

7.) Duane started practicing the art of Muay Thai kickboxing when he was just 15 years old.

8.) He is one of the few fighters to beat the legendary Genki Sudo.

9.) Early in his Mixed Martial Arts career, he was trained by fight legend Bas Rutten.

No matter what happens from here, “Bang” has proven himself to be one of the toughest fighters out there.
