Meerut : A consignment of Indonesian and Korean cigarettes 30,200 packets worth Rs 75.8 lakh was recovered from a truck on its way to New Delhi from Guwahati, which was intercepted at Hapur by a joint team of UP police and STF on Wednesday.
ASP, Hapur, Mukesh Kumar Mishra said the STF of the Noida unit had received input about the truck. After stopping near Hapur Medical College on NH – 9, cops arrested Ravi Giri, a resident of Sambhal, and Mohd Mu Zammit, a resident of Bulandshahar.
