Bareilly : Three persons were killed and another injured after a truck collided with a pickup van on Moradabad – Farrukh Abad highway in UP’s Butuan on Thursday morning , police said . All three persons travelling in the pickup van died on the spot , police said , adding the injured was admitted to a district hospital .
The straw – laden truck collided head – on with the van near a temple in Faizaan Betha area of the district , said police . The victims have been identified as Haji Imran ( 50 ) , a cattle dealer from Moradabad , his sons SIIzhaar ( 20 ) and Ishaan ( 22 ) , and the driver Gulnara Khan ( 35 ) .
Out of them , SIIzhaar has survived with critical injuries , said SHO Faizaan Betha Sid hint Sharma . He said , ” The bodies have been sent for autopsy . The truck has been seized but the driver has managed to flee . A case has been registered in the matter . “
In another accident , three bike – borne men were hit by a speeding bus in Alipore area . They were rushed to hospital where one of them – Mohammed Raoul succumbed to his injuries while his friends – Ab dulKalaam ( 18 ) and Mohr Shaun ( 18 ) were referred to a private hospital in Bareilly ,, said police .
