Pilibhit As many as four people, including an examinee of the preliminary eligibility test ( PET ) of the Uttar Pradesh subordinate service selection commission, died in separate incidents in the last two days. Out of four, three were killed in train and road accidents, while a woman was found hanging in her husband’s house. The police have sent the four bodies for autopsy and are waiting for the written complaints in all four cases for lodging the FIRS.
A 23 – year – old man, identified as Irshad Ahmad of Gya spur locality in Bisalpur city, was hit by a speeding car on the city road at 11 pm on Saturday. He was shifted to a private hospital by the locals where he was declared dead.
SHO of Bisalpur Kotwali police station Praveen Ku mar said that the deceased was returning home after attending a wedding celebration at his sister’s house when the incident took place.
In the second incident, a 21 – year – old woman was found hanging from the timber rafter of a thatched roof in her husband’s house at Bunibho od village near the Indo – Nepal border. As per SHO Surendra Kumar Singh, her husband Manjeet Rajbhar had left for Uttarakhand on Saturday morning to earn money through some labor work before Diwali.
The third incident was reported from Piparia Agru village under the jurisdiction of Nuria police station. A 35 year – old man was run over by a train at 11 am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a 24 – year – old girl, identified as Preeti, died after being hit by a speeding truck on NH 730 near Dhanna baba gurudwara under Gajraula police station at 4.30 on Sunday. She was returning home in Sitapur from Pilib hit along with her three friends after writing the PET.
Her friends, Abhinesh, Deepmala, and Ranjit Kumari were also injured in the incident. SHO Ashutosh Raghuvanshi said that the truck driver fled the spot along with the vehicle . The four injured have been shifted to the district hospital in Pilibhit.
